Hours:
6.30am to 8.00am (On Call)
08.00am – 5.00pm (Office Work)
5.00pm – 10.30pm (On Call)
Salary:
£15,000 pro rata and £30 on call bonus per 4 days on

Excite Care are looking for 2 bright and positive people who’s smile will be felt through the phone cheering up and making a difference to your local community. We looking for someone who can absorb all incoming calls, deal with all queries and the odd complaint and leave every person that’s come into contact with you feeling well sorted and satisfied once you’ve finished with them! We’re looking for someone who loves a fast pace (but not rush) and would rescue the day and alleviate pressure without dropping the ball.
Oh but wait! There’s more! You get to be head of customer services in training but you’ll also be managing the office to make sure it ticks over nicely serving your fellow team mates with office back up and support managing the running’s of a busy office as well as alleviating pressure from your fellow team mates by mucking in and helping out with their day to day jobs and projects too.
So what tasks could you be doing I hear you ask?
Well you would obviously be cheerfully talking down the phone all day long but where there are gaps you’ll be taking a primary role in many company advancing projects, be spending some cash ordering the stock and replenishing stock for the office, watching our alerts screen like a hawk monitoring for lateness and attendance at all calls, meeting and greeting a number of guests every day, setting up rooms, checking in with phone feedback checks, going out on the field to assess carers and occasionally perform the odd care shift yourself….and everyday doing a quick round of washing up and vaccing – you are the office manager after all!
Outside of your office hours you’ll take the on call phone with you and for your 4 days on, you’ll take calls from 6.30am in the morning and till 10.30pm at night on call however the bulk of the work be within office hours.
The key difference in this role is that you will be trained to be a care worker too with the main reason being that you will be the main line of defence in our Emergency Care Team.

That’s right, each week, every week you only need to work a 4 day week and then you get 4 days off on a rota where you can plan your life 3 year in advance if you so choose! Good or Good?

So you need to be bright, have great energy and a very positive can do attitude. You’ll have to be able to work quickly and accurately, be well spoken, have a confident telephone manner, know how to write a good email and basically be amazingly good at organising and getting stuff sorted out! You have initiative and emotional intelligence and a good understanding of other people. In fact you love people, you love talking to people and you love fixing people’s problems.
We need a customer services hot shot for this so you need to be able to demonstrate at least 6 months experience in a customer services environment or a role where you’ve had regular interaction serving members of the public so sorry we won’t be considering any applications that don’t meet this requirement.
You’ll also need to be able to drive with access to your own vehicle, and due to the provision on providing personal care we can only accept female candidates.
