The role in a nutshell

This paid internship will offer £26,000 per year for the 3 month internship, followed by a possible permanent position.
How you can expect to spend your day;

• You will be expected to generate content from blog posts to white papers for online distribution.
• You will manage social media channels and help promote relevant content to relevant brands.
• There will be an element of managing online adverts too, as well as email marketing and marketing automation setup that has been created in-house.
• They use Salesforce (CRM) and Pardot (Marketing Automation) as well as WordPress and various online digital marketing tools but don’t worry if you’re not familiar with them as full training will be provided.
• They also do webinars, some events and work closely with the sales team on campaigns to help bring in leads for the company.
• Lastly, they also do internal marketing using videos, email newsletters and anything to help bond the 5 global offices together.

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications;

• Degree level/HND is ideal with a keen interest in content marketing and digital.
• Has to be quick on feet and full of ideas.
• Pro-activeness is the key as they don’t do micro-managing.
• You’ll get trained and then get on working hard and hopefully having fun!
• This is a b2b sales & marketing environment – and they are selling software to financial services which is hard so it’s a challenge (but financial knowledge is not required).
• You’ll need to be confident and happy to communicate with everyone internally and happy to promote the company brand in a positive way.
