SRK are a young and dynamic chartered accountancy practice in the heart of the West End offering the opportunity of a 3 month internship.

The programme offers applicants the opportunity to get involved in actual accounting, helping to prepare client work. It also offers the chance to explore the varied and intellectually stimulating career paths within Accounting.

Tasks and Responsibilities

We hope you will gain a valuable experience and learn what it is like to work in a professional services firm. During the programme you will get involved in:

Office work

Client work (to include meeting the client)

Partner and accounts associate workshadowing to gain some experience of activities at this level?- skills sessions, and

General accounting and tax tasks

Our Requirements

As a general rule, you’ll be expected to meet the following requirements:

– Minimum grade B GCSE* Maths

– Minimum grade B GCSE* English Language

– Minimum of 320 UCAS Tariff points (or 26 UCAS points)

– On track to receive minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline or already achieved * or equivalent

Candidates who are graduates looking to break into accounting are also considered.

Please note, that we only consider a candidate’s ‘top’ 3 A-level grades and do not accept General Studies.

Pay Scheme – This is an expenses only position with the potential to move to a paid permanent position upon successful completion of the program. Please note our last two internships have been very successful, resulting in the intern joining our team as a fulltime paid Associate Accountant. We are pleased to report they are both still happily working with SRK Accounting!
