12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE THAT COULD GO PERMANENT

Bristol based employer are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a 12 month contract that could go permanent

Your new role
The post-holder will be accountable for the timely and accurate production of P&L’s and Balance Sheets. Responsibilities:

• Sales reconciliations and work with the business to manage and understand the drivers for control accounts and debtors walk balances
• Ownership and production of branch P&L’s, Balance Sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities
• Providing results commentary
• Supporting your colleagues with queries and processes
• Identify and recommend process improvements to ensure efficient and fit for purpose
• Support on audit and audit queries
• Support the wider acquisitions team as required

Duties:

• Month end reporting to include creating and posting journals
• Production of P&Ls
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Identifying areas where it might be possible to create efficiencies

What you’ll need to succeed

• Completed AAT Level 4, Certificate level of CIMA, or ACCA Fundamental level – Knowledge passed
• Experience in Assistant Management Accounting roles in similar sized business
• Ability to adapt and be flexible
• Excellent IT skills, including advance excel
• Strong attention to detail, able to diver right-first-time results quickly
• An enquiring nature to be able to confidently deal with the variety of different challenges
• Proven ability to build strong relationships
