Process Operatives

Salary: £26,000 per year

We are seeking Process Operatives to work for our client in Malmsbury.

This is the perfect role if you are passionate about food, want to use local ingredients and want to join an organisation keen to improve its carbon footprint. The site produces specialist products throughout the UK into retail, wholesale, and farm shop outlets.

This role would suit someone who has previously worked within hospitality as a chef but is looking for more stable, fixed hours. You will require a good level of fitness as the role is physical.

Working on the day shift you will be responsible for using the night teams’ batch of sauces and you will then begin the processing or portioning and decanting the product. preparing recipes in batches to order, ensuring product specification ratios are adhered to.

Operating equipment within the production rooms and store areas using health and safety rules, while maintaining targeted output with minimal interruption.

Loading and unloading machines, and packaging finished goods. Cleaning down and any other duties required.

The ideal candidate:
Previous FMCG experience is preferred however candidates from a manufacturing background will be considered. You will need to be well organised and be able to work unsupervised, be able to follow procedures to BRC standards. Must have a good level of English, maths and have access to transport due to location.

The Salary: and working hours for the role is:
Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:30

£26,000 per year basic
