Site Technician (Rail)

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Site Technician to join an enthusiastic team delivering Geotechnical and Structural Monitoringto HS2 southern (S1 & S2) sections in the greater london corridor

This role offers the opportunity to undertake and deliver site-based instrumentation and monitoring installation and set-ups. The Environment is the dynamic and intense area of rail and Projects. So experience of Instrumentation, Monitoring and / or Rail is a real advantage.

You will:

Carry out the following tasks, whilst under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Site Engineer / Project Manager:

* Support the installation of Instrumentation & Monitoring equipment

* Liaise with the Site Engineers and other Project Team to progress works

* Support in compliance with method and risk statements

* Supporting other Project (non HS2) work as required

This role is primarily site based (West London) with occassional trips to other locations as required.

* Sentinal Card/Rail safety tickets

* Experience in the installation of electrical/electronic hardware in a construction environment
