An exciting opportunity exists for an Assistant Site Manager to join a Manchester based contractor working on contracts throughout the North West region. This award winning, Contractor has a focus on design & builds developments (£2m – £15m) for an impressive list of local authorities and blue-chip clients.

The company is privately owned and operates a ‘no nonsense’ approach to construction; they are keen not to overcomplicate the process and/or suffocate their management teams instead focus on quality, delivery and safety.

Assistant Site Manager

This is a Number 2 position where you will be running the site activities reporting into a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager in charge of the project. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of the project to programme; you will also to responsible for Health & Safety, subcontractor management and progress meetings.

It is essential that you can demonstrate a solid and stable career history in this capacity.

This role would suit an assistant site manager or newly experienced site manager who likes being out on site managing the project in hand and has the drive to take projects forward and create a positive culture on site.
