Accounts Senior

Salary: £28,800 – £33,600 per year

NXTGEN are proud to be working with a growing accountancy firm based in Mid Suffolk with outstanding reputation. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join the expanding team in Bury St Edmunds.

It is expected you will have excellent communication skills and hte ability to multi task. You will need to be proficent in microsoft Excel and accounting packages such as Xero and Sage.

With a large and varied mix of diverse clients you will assist in a range of tasks to include –

– Working with and managing client relationships
– Reporting to/producing work for the manager/partner to review, whilst highlighting any issues and providing potential solutions
– Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
– Personal and Corporation Tax
– Monitor progress of work against budgets set and action accordingly
– Managing and supervising junior staff members

Required Attributes:

– Be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
– Experience working in a practice enviroment
– Highly organised
