Resourcing Group are working with a registered Scottish charity and leading housing association in Aberdeen who provide a range of quality affordable homes including general rented, sheltered and supported housing.
We are recruiting a part time Sheltered Housing Warden on a temporary basis, although there may be the opportunity to go permanent.
The working hours will be 9am to 2pm Monday & Friday and 9am to 1pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

As the Sheltered Housing Warden, you will be expected to manage the day to day running of the service, including looking after the building and its tenants.

To become a warden, you will need a caring and friendly manner along with excellent communications skills and the ability to be firm but fair.

Typical duties will include;
*Allocate and manage accommodation, and control rent arrears.
*Inspect the property and arrange for repairs to be carried out.
*Supervise cleaning and maintenance staff.
*Look after the welfare of residents.
*Check on health and safety and conduct risk assessments.
*Work with outside agencies, carers and parents.
*Deal with any problems with the building or tenants.
*Manage community spaces and facilities.

In sheltered or supported housing, or specially adapted accommodation, residents may include homeless people, older people or those with some level of physical disability. In these settings your work will include checking on residents each morning to make sure they’re well, and encouraging them to live independent lives.
