Panoramic Associates is currently supporting the recruitment of an interim Head of Development to aid in the progression of the councils housing development pipeline. You will provide a strategic overview and bring a wealth of senior management experience when it comes to delivering housing schemes.

Key responsibilities of the role:

* Main point of contact when liaising with internal and external partners e.g GLA, affiliating Housing Associations
* Implement strategic procedures to support the set housing supply-demand
* Mitigate any potential issues for the council-owned development sites
* Manage the Council’s budget and housing team to ensure that the programmes are delivered on time.
* Provide various reports including Board /Cabinet report for approvals

To be considered for the role, you must have a track record of overseeing Housing Development teams within a social housing setting for either a Local Authority Housing Association background. A strong Affordable Housing background would be advantageous.

Next Steps

The role will be for an initial 6 months with a likely extension, the successful candidate will be working from home for the foreseeable future.
