GENERAL MANAGER – CONTRACT OPERATIONS
SALARY TO £90,000

We now have a brand new opportunity for an experienced General Manager/Contract Operations Manager to join a UK leading contracting services business managing contracting teams across Scotland.
Due to significant expansion we have created this position to provide strategic operational support to all contract aspects.
The role
Site visits to all contracting locations across Northern, North East, West and East Scotland
Assistance and guidance on bid and tender processes to establish capabilities
Dealing with escalated personnel, supplier and customer issues
Regularly review and evaluate projects ensuring compliance to all HSQE requirements, deadlines are met and profitability targets are maximisedKey requirements
Experience/working knowledge of managing Road Surfacing/Civil Engineering projects
NVQ L4 qualification in Construction Management or similar
CSCS card holder
A true relationship builder with an influential management style
Well organised individual who is fast thinking with a structured approachThis role has been created to manage the ever-growing work load of the contracting operation. You will be joining a company who hold and continue to bid for some of the most lucrative projects available to their industry and locations.
*You can be based at any one of their locations across the regions listed above but must be flexible to travel to each area regularly*
