Warehouse & Operations Manager

This established and expanding company specialises in supplying the Pet Care and Professional Grooming markets. It employs 26 full and part time staff and is based in Newbury in Berkshire. It manufactures its own range of liquid products and a wide range of other bought in goods with a total of over 3,000 skus.

As a Warehouse & Operations Manager you will manage the day to day operations including:

* Receipt and efficient storage of all incoming goods and materials
* Timely, accurate and efficient fulfilment of customer orders
* Scheduling and quality Control of all in-house manufacturing including raw material purchases
* Implementation of the companies Health and Safety systems and policies
* Preparation of materials for external shows and exhibitions.

Manage following key relationships

* Warehouse manufacturing and fulfilment team
* Transport and raw material suppliers
* Health and Safety Consultants

Plan and implement key operational change

* Review current operations including working practices, layouts and systems
* Develop and implement the change plan demonstrating improved performance and efficiency

An ideal Warehouse & Operations Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:

* Proven management experience in warehouse and fulfilment operations.
* Experience in motivating and managing a team.
* The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Experience in Health and Safety management.
* The ability to think creatively and to be the architect of change
* A clean driving license

In return you will receive a salary of circa £36,000Per annum dependent upon experience.
