Quality / R & D Assistant

DB Orthodontics Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Quality/R & D Assistant to join their team based in Silsden, West Yorkshire.

DB Orthodontics Ltd is a supplier and manufacturer of Orthodontic products in the UK also exporting throughout Europe and the rest of the world. The Company was founded in 1998 and is based in Silsden, West Yorkshire. In 2013 DB Orthodontics Ltd was awarded the Queen’s Award for International Trade, the UK’s most prestigious business award, in recognition of our outstanding achievement in international trade.

The position of Quality/R & D Assistant is a varied role assisting the Quality and R & D Managers in this busy department.

The Quality/R & D Assistant role involves

– Assisting in the day to day administration of the ISO9001/ISO13485/FDA and CAMDCAS quality management system.

– Assisting the Quality Manager with the processing of customer returns/complaints/non-conformances and documenting changes to the system.

– After training, carrying out and planning internal audits and compiling technical files.

– Assisting in the organisation of courses to promote our products

– General administrative duties including photocopying, filing, making bookings etc.

Skills and experience of our Quality/R & D Assistant

Good computer skills, excellent organisation skills, the ability to work as part of a team and excellent communication/telephone skills are required for this position. Attention to detail is an essential requirement..

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of circa £26,000per year working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per year (8:45 to 17:15)
