Marketing Executive

Our client, a market-leading management consultancy based in Warrington, currently requires an experienced Marketing Executive to join their busy team. With responsibility developing marketing campaigns and producing marketing materials to generate leads for the sales team, suitable candidates will be degree-level qualified or equivalent, with substantial experience in a generalist marketing role. An exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic team-player, this position offers:

£26,000 – £28,800 per year

JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the role is to contribute to the planning and delivery of all marketing activities for one of their business streams. This will be a varied role where you will need good marketing experience across the board but also to be able to pick up the nuances of their market and know how to pitch the right message across communications, PR and events.

Working alongside the marketing manager, key duties will include:
• Digital marketing – content and layout production for multiple publications and websites, email marketing, etc
• Offline marketing – newsletters, conferences, events, etc
• Contributing to the overall marketing plan
• Carrying out market research
• Assisting in market segmentation and analysis

PERSON SPECIFICATION

To apply for this role, you should have substantial experience in a similar Marketing Executive position. In addition, you should be able to offer:

• First-class oral and written communication skills
• Strong IT skills (including spreadsheets and databases)
• Strong copy writing experience
• Experience of web content creation
• Relevant degree discipline or equivalent
• Knowledge of social media
• Driven, determined and results-focused attitude
• Desire for continuous improvement
• Effective relationship-builder
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Enthusiasm for high quality service delivery

Any experience of social housing or procurement sectors would be a bonus as would any basic web skills (HTML, etc) or design (Photoshop, etc).
