Client Manager / Assistant Accountant £16,000 to £28,000+ / King;s Lynn / Permanent
A family owned business who have operated for over 25 years are looking for an Client Manager / Assistant Accountant with practical accountancy experience within an accountancy practice for their Norwich Office. The company specialise in high earners and high level tax planning and are passionate about working closely with each client by finding out about them, their business needs and exit strategies.
This is a great position within a Chartered Certified Accountants to continue a career in accountancy. This position has a clearly defined progression to a client manager’s role once you demonstrate the required level of skills and confidence, your salary as a client manager would be £33,600+ with unlimited potential for the right person. Through previous experience you would be comfortable completing various accountancy tasks.
As an Client Manager / Assistant Accountant your duties would include:
* Completing extended trial balances, preparing accounts, VAT returns, general book-keeping, tax calculations and final accounts.
* Investigating discrepancies to solve problem and find solutions before completing accounts.
* Liaising with colleagues, senior staff and clients to ensure all information is correct and correct procedures are followed.
The Ideal Client Manager / Assistant Accountant would have the following skills and experience:
* At least 3 years experience of working in an accountancy practice regularly performing tasks such as “extended trial balances”
* Qualifications such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA or experience and working towards one of these qualifications.
* Good written and spoken English skills enabling you to communicate at all levels.
* Excellent analytical skills in relation to Maths and problem solving.
* Strong I.T skills with experience of using the Microsoft software aalongside SAGE and XERO.
In return you will receive a salary of between £33,600 and £28K+ depending on experience and 28 days holiday, inclusive. You will be based close to King’s Lynn town centre, with a working day of 9am till 5pm with 1 hour for lunch. Parking is available on-site.
