My client is currently searching for a Project Manager that will manage a new build project in Suffolk which is currently at preconstruction stage. This project is multi-phased and will last for over 2 years with further projects to follow. The scheme consists of two new steel framed warehouses.

You will be the project lead on the project. You will have a Site Manager and Site Engineer reporting in to you. You will be reporting directly to Director level.

ROLE:

* Managing day to day activities

* Health & Safety

* Progress reports and site meetings

* Programming

* Quality control

* Responsible for a team managers

* Responsible for managing sub-contractors

* Undertake regular health, safety and environment inspections

* Ensure quality management regime is in place and being adhered to

CANDIDATE:

* Have a proven track record at Project Manager level for a main contractor or principle contractor

* Experience of steel framed commercial and industrial buildings is essential with values in excess of £10 million

* An active SMSTS and CSCS card is required. A current first aid certificate is desired but not essential

* The client likes to see a steady work history with candidates as this is a permanent position
