Plant Operator / Ground Worker

Salary: £26,000 – £38,400 per year

Three Shires Ltd are specialist contractors to the Construction, Rail, Utilities, Highways, and Civil Infrastructure sectors. For the last 20 years Three Shires has developed long standing relationships with the UK’s leading House Builders, Construction Contractors, Civil Engineers, Developers, Environmental and Ecological Consultants. Our services include Ecological, Vegetation Clearance, Invasive Weed, Tree Protection, Site Hoarding and Security Fencing we also undertake all other aspects of site enablement.

We are looking to recruit the following staff:

* Arborists

* Fencer

* General Ground staff

* Plant Operators

Successful candidates will need to have:

* Experience and qualifications in Forestry, Fencing, Plant Operation and or Ground Works

* Plant and machinery qualifications i.e., operators of agricultural and forestry machinery, harvesters, forwarder, mulchers and/or chainsaws, will be considered extremely advantageous, although training will be given to the right candidate

* Full UK driving licence

* Holder of CPCS or CSCS card would be an advantage

* Must be able to work within a team

* Ability to use own initiative in what is a physically demanding role

* Need to be within commuting distance of Melton Mowbray

* The roles will require the candidates to work in all regions of the UK and occasionally at night

Package:

* Salary: £26,000 – £38,400per yeardepending on experience

* Potential to advance to Site Foreman

* Company pension

* 28 days paid holiday

* Death in service at 2 x annual salary

* Vehicle for commuting to site
