Our client is a British Manufacturing company with a global presence. Being in the top 5 defence organisations in the UK, it is engaged in the development, delivery and support of aerospace and defence systems in the air, on land and at sea.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Aerospace Production Fitter for a 8 Month Contract based in Wimborne.
* Working in a team building air to air refuelling products.
* Assembling and testing products in a manufacturing environment.
* Attending training courses for your development at Cobham.
* Adhering to processes & offering ideas for new procedures.
* Assembles and tests product to agreed engineering methods and processes.
* Complete surveys and repairs to agreed practices.
* Supports and conforms to Quality procedures to maintain compliance, by ensuring adherence to the defined processes and procedures.
Experience
* Fuel Systems or Structural experience.
* Aerospace sub-system assembly and test.
* Be able to read drawings.
* Aircraft experience from a line or base maintenance background.
* A Human Factors certification would be a nice to have, but Cobham will put all Contractors through a training update before they start.
