Standard: £18 p/h Umb/Ltd
Overtime: £22.50 p/h Umb/Ltd
Overtime 2: £30 p/h Umb/Ltd

This position is for an experienced and qualified electrician with a background in building services maintenance to work within an estates department at an NHS Trust in East London / Essex. The Trust has a busy, fast paced, challenging environment which will both test and broaden your existing skill set. Being a part of this team means that you will be responsible for, maintaining the operational status of the hospital and ensuring that all services remain available to the public.

The Main Duties:

– Attending to reactive electrical faults and breakdowns across the estate including lighting faults, alarm system failures and wiring issues
– Plant maintenance; air handling units, fan cool units etc.
– Generator and emergency light testing
– Carry out installations of new equipment and services, test and inspect new work accordingly
– Maintenance and monitoring of BMS, IPS/UPS
– Fault finding and repairing from drawings and readings on Electrical Plant

Essential Requirements:

– You will be a qualified electrician City and Guilds 17th Edition or equivalent
– MUST have Previous maintenance experience within the industrial or public sector
– You must be flexible in your approach and be adaptable to working with a variety of people

Desirable:

– A current CRB / DBS disclosure
