ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Junction 28 / M1
My client manufactures a wide range of high quality castings for the Automotive, Pump and engineering sectors.
They currently have an opportunity for an experienced ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER to join the team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who is looking for progression within a well-established, engineering company.
THE ROLE
- Responsible for the electrical maintenance and repair of plant and machinery in a Foundry environment
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance, responding to breakdowns, fault finding and repairing equipment
- To ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current legislation and the company’s QHSE manuals.
- To control maintenance tools and equipment
- Working in diverse areas i.e., casting, furnaces, welding & shot blasting equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Apprentice Trained / Qualified Electrical Engineer
- Skilled in electrical disciplines
• Overhead Cranes
• Continuous sand mixers
• Pneumatics
• Allen Bradley type Inverters
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Proven track record of continuous improvement, PPM & TPM
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
HOURS & RATE:
Pay rate £17.3p per hour (negotiable for the right candidate)
£25 p/wk shift allowance
40 hour week, Days 06.00am to 1.30 pm & Afters 1.30pm to 9pm.
