Maintenance Team Leader

Salary: £26,000 per year

Your Role

As a Maintenance Team Leader, your role is to lead and manage a team of Multi-Skilled maintenance engineers in your region. Working with heavy plant machinery (balers/shearers/heavy plant) in an outside environment.

Abilities to lead a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers, contribute ideas, and support colleagues to deliver efficient service to different sites. Equally, we are also looking for an individual who can use their initiative when making decisions and solving problems. Responsibilities

* To promote a positive outlook on health, quality, safety and environmental culture throughout the business.

* To conduct and provide guidance and support in developing risk analysis, developing SOP’s and improvement plans.

* To work as part of a team to complete scheduled blade changes on shears

* Work as part of a team to complete scheduled work on time

* Assist in completion of any corrective work highlighted from AC/PPM

* To achieve all PPM tasks scheduled

* Provide proactive and reactive engineering support across the area

* To document all work that has been completed

Qualifications and Experience

* A nationally recognised level 3 or above mechanical or electrical qualification

* Full driving licence (ideally with no points)

* Experience working on mobile plants is preferred

* Experience with the shear, baler or recycling equipment

* Good computer literacy

* Good written and communication skills

* Multi-skilled experience – electrical and a mechanical skillset (70/30)

* Ideally, an IOSH qualification
