SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

Do you want to make a difference with your support and guidance to the education and lives of children, who benefit from a 1:1?

Is your current role coming to and end and so are looking for your next exciting and fulfulling opportunity as a Teaching Assistant that supports SEN? Or do you quite simply just want to do what you love – whilst gaining further experience in your passion?

Whatever the case may be Academics would love to be apart of this and help you as much as we can through this process and your journey. We are now more than ever, seeking Teaching Assistants with relevant SEN experience to support the children who need it and offer them that encouragement 1 on 1.

We work with many lovely Primary Schools in the Chester and Ellesmere Port area – who have requirements for both daily supply and longer term positions. With that in mind, you can be as flexible and as busy as you want to be and fit the work in nicely around your personal life and other important responsibilities!

We would expect some exp in the some of the following;

• SEMH
• EBSD and challenging behaviour,
• ASD, ADHD
• Learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, global delay)
• Physical difficulties.

As well as the above, all candidates are required to either hold or be willing to get an enhanced DBS that is registered on the update service, a long with beng able to provide 2 years worth of references.
