Management Accountant

Salary: £56,400 per year

An exciting opportunity to join an international growing business that are looking for a Management Accountant to report into the Group Financial Controller. You take responsibility for producing the management accounts for one particular division of this larger business.

Management Accountant – About the Role

You will work closely with and report to a Group Financial Controller. The role is a real mix of both management and financial accounting; The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

* Management of one assistant management accountant.

* Producing annual budgets and periodic forecasts

* Producing monthly and quarterly reporting packs

* Monthly management accounts

* Analysis of financials, commercial and all project work within the business

* Statutory accounts and annual audit files

* Review the inventory process with the ERP system, making changes and recommendations

* Balance sheet reconciliations

The successful Management Accountant will be:

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

You will have had previous experience of working within operational accounting and truly understand; WIP accounting, Stock accounting and Cost accounting.

Technically strong with a high level of financial and management accounting experience.

Fully conversant with UK GAAP and IFRS would be a distinct advantage
