Area Sales Manager

Salary: £43,200 per year

We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager who has experience from within the Housewares and/or Garden sectors on behalf of a leading manufacturer from within the food storage and preparation, housewares, storage and gardening sectors. On offer is a salary of up to £43,200 plus bonus, company car, pension scheme etc.,

As the Area Sales Manager you will:

• Be taking over a well-managed and developed geographical area which will include the YO, HU, HG, LS, WF, DN, S, HD, HX, BD, OL, M, SK, DE, ST, CW, CH, WA, L, LL, SY, WV TF & DY postcodes.

• Have a wide customer base that includes Independent Retailers, Cash & Carry, Wholesalers, Hardware Stores, Garden Centres, DIY Stores, Stationery Outlets, Agricultural and Equestrian Stores, Pet Shops etc.,
• Be developing business with existing customers and targeting business with potential new accounts.

To be considered as the Area Sales Manager you will need:

• A minimum of three years externally based sales experience ideally from within the housewares and/or garden sectors.
• A consistent record of sales growth.
• Strong area management and journey planning skills.
• A good understand of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience of using a CRM system.
