Estates & Facilities manager required to work for a rapidly expanding family owned logistics business based North of Nottingham.
Client Details
A family owned logistics business based north of Nottingham are looking to appoint a Head of Estates & Facilities to join their property team. They are looking for an experienced Estates Manager in order to support their plans for expansion through acquisition of new property as well as managing their existing portfolio.
Description
To deliver the Property & Assets Strategy providing complete management of the organisation’s assets and assisting in the acquisition of new through purchase, lease or any other means as required.
The role will predominantly be around the acquisition of new property / land and lease renewals in order to support the organisations ambitious plans for expansion. An excellent knowledge of planning & development is essential to the role. On top of this you will have responsibility for the organisations Facilities Management arm, overseeing service provider contracts, direct management of the Group Facilities Manager, managing refurbishments / refits, finances / budgets.
Profile
- Previous experience in a Property Asset Management position
- Acquisition of new property / land
- Experience in planning & development stages of construction
- Good financial management experience and budgetary control.
- A strong project manager with significant ability to manage risk, performance and control delivery to achieve objectives.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of strategic asset management and supporting technology and associated property improvement, including technical aspects, relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of procurement processes and statutory compliance and legislation
- Project management skills & knowledge of preparing and controlling large scale property refurbishment programmes.
- Member of a relevant professional body RICS, CIOB, IMBM, CIOH
- Excellent communication skills: influential, articulate and persuasive.
