The opportunity:

To work client-side across a state of the art data centre facility, managing the existing contractors on site to ensure works are completed in a timely fashion, and to the highest standards. Reporting directly into the TFM, who is being considered for a career promotion, thus meaning there is scope for the Facilities Engineer to progress into this individuals position.

To work on a days, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 basis, with plenty of guaranteed optional overtime available.

As a Facilities Engineer your responsibilities will include the following:

• Managing the existing contractors on site to ensure works are completed in a timely fashion, and to the highest standard.
• To act as the bridge between the data centre and the contractors on site.
• To ensure health & safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
• To champion best data centre practices

We are looking for a Facilities Engineer who has the following skills and qualifications:

• At least 5 years’ experience within engineering or facilities management
• To have a sound technical understanding of critical systems (generators, cooling systems, BMS, switching etc)
• To be qualified to a C&G or NVQ Level 3 standard in a Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC capacity.
