Two Commis Chefs required for two venues in Lewes and Brighton.

This is a long term opportunity for ambitious Commis/CdP who has a background in this industry and wants to further their career as a chef. There are definite promotional opportunities and a direct career path, training up toward internal promotion. Salary adjustments take place continually.

You will be working with one of the best Head Chefs in Sussex in a calm, democratic brigade and constantly trained to further your career.

• The Menu: Small menu of 13 Starters and 13 Mains Seasonal, fresh gastro pub food beautifully cooked traditional with fusion twist
• The Commi Chef Role: The new Commi /Trainee chef will be on the Starter section -with help, never left alone and constantly trained up.
• Salary is never static. All staff have constant pay review upgrades every 3 months.

• Experience: Commis level for at least a year- working as a Commis chef in a restaurant or gastro pub or for 1- 2 years at catering college.

We are looking for Commis chefs who are committed to a career as a chef and want to stay and progress up the ladder. Someone who has experience in this role, who is passionate and has commis skills.
