Accounts Assistant

Family run & successful and profitable business are in the market for a experienced Accounts Assistant

Duties include:

Purchase Ledger – Inputting supplier invoices onto Sage Line 50, paying suppliers and reconciling supplier statements to Line 50, chasing credits from suppliers Stock Control – allocating stock from purchase and sales invoices to stock books and Line 50.

Sales Ledger – Drafting sales invoices, allocating stock to sales invoices Bank / Credit Card control – assisting Accounts Manager with bank and credit card reconciliation Control Accounts – updating balance sheet items including fixed asset registers, loan accounts and P & L nominal analysis

VAT – liaising with external accountant, assisting with VAT returns & management accounts

Payroll – weekly processing for up to 15 employees, RTI submissions, paying employees from business accounts and monitoring holiday leave Other duties may include:

Assisting Accounts Manager with ad hoc admin work Covering reception during break times

If you are near to completing your AAT Level 4 or will have the equivalent experience.

Have a minimum two years prior industry experience with purchase / sales ledger, bank reconciliations, control accounts and VAT returns.

Are experienced with Sage Line 50? If so really would love to hear from you!

Payroll experience is desirable but not essential.

You will help to maintain the records of 3 Limited companies so previous experience in consolidated accounts and Inter-company balances are sought after. (Any previous admin experience in Vehicle dealerships would be very advantageous)
