My client a leading global professional body specialising within the financial services, banking and accounting sectors is currently looking for an Account Executive – Partnerships & Affinity
join their team at their offices in heart of the City of London, Moorgate.
The purpose of the role will be to ensure that all commercial partnership agreements are implemented efficiently and effectively across the professional body.
Main responsibilities of role:
To assist the Team Leaders and Manager, Channel Partnerships & Affinity in the delivery of our commercial partnerships programme for the professional body, working within agreed account management principles taking the closed deal from the sales team and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the implementation/ delivery and review stages.
Manage a specific portfolio of account relationships, including the development of relationships with potential and lapsed partners, making best use of marketing intelligence, understanding their business and marketing objectives and matching these to the professional body activities and plans.
Lead post-sales discussions and secure agreements, including the delivery and drafting of contracts, payment schedules and review processes.
To ensure that all areas of the agreement are met and the partnership is developed so that it adds value to both the sponsor and the professional body leading to measurable client satisfaction and, where possible, repeat business.
To liaise with the appropriate internal stakeholder(s) in order to ensure that any necessary project team and processes are in place to deliver the contract.
Arrange and lead regular client review meetings during duration of contract.
To act as a source of support and information, including best practice and advice on developing plans, advising clients and internally on strategy and implementation (eg ad copy, speaking content/style, messages and exhibition techniques) where appropriate and opportunities for maximising income generation.
To develop and maintain the appropriate administration and reporting processes in order to effectively plan, implement and measure activities and make recommendations for future commercial activity.
To ensure the partner gets maximum return from their investment in sponsorship/advertising.
To contribute to the development and delivery of the professional body business objectives, including taking part in cross departmental project teams where appropriate.
Key Experience Required
Previous account/client relationship management experience essential
Good attention to detail
Proven project / time management and multi-tasking skills
Good interpersonal / influencing skills
Demonstrable previous commercial/marketing experience
Willing to work well as part of a team, with a flexible, can do attitude and work long hours when
