Aircraft Engineering Technicians are part of the Serco RAF Northolt Aircraft Maintenance Section (AMS) which provides Line and Base maintenance for RAF aircraft used by No 32 (The Royal) Squadron.
We currently have opportunities for experienced Aircraft Avionics Technicians to join the team in Depths Movement, AMS-VASS A. All technicians are expected to become highly competent within their particular specialisation on the both the HS 125 and BAe 146 aircraft and they will be involved in flight servicings, routine maintenance, random fault identification and rectification, and more in-depth maintenance activity.
The positions are also linked to RAF Sponsored Reserve service and in addition to engineering duties, personnel will be expected to discharge the duties of RAF Senior Non-Commissioned Officers including overseas deployment.
All AMS personnel are required to work a shift system and must be able to drive.
Essential Qualifications
Full UK Driving Licence
Ex UK Military Aircraft Avionics Engineering experience
Flexibility and adaptability Reliable, conscientious and safety focussed
