Assistant Management Accountant

City Centre media organisation has a requirement for an Assistant Management Accountant due to an internal promotion and departmental restructure.

This business has recorded record growth in 2013 and projects this to continue for the coming years therefore is keen to strengthen the accounts team with this key acquisition.

With full study support to complete CIMA or ACCA qualification the business is dedicated to developing and mentoring the successful candidate into a qualified Management Accountant.

Working alongside a qualified Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

*All aspects of the finance function, assisting with month end procedures alongside the financial Controller
*Preparation of draft year-end accounts and audit file
*Preparing the bank reconciliations and reporting packs in accordance with deadlines
*Dealing with any ad hoc requests from internal and external parties

The ideal candidate will:

*Be actively studying ACCA/CIMA and have gained experience within a fast paced finance department
*Able to deal with numerous deadlines and prioritise tasks accordingly
*Comfortable in a team environment but also capable of working independently
*Able to settle quickly into a fast paced and demanding role

As you develop within the role you will have the opportunity to gain exposure across the business to all aspects of the finance function and in the future have the opportunity to progress to senior management.
