Baltic Recruitment Commercial Team are currently looking to recruit field based Area Sales Executives to cover sales areas across the country. Our client is a highly reputable and successful 5th generation, family-run business that can offer excellent career opportunities. If you are looking to move from a telesales or merchandising role into an energetic field based position then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. The main purpose of the role will be to work alongside the Area Sales Manager developing new business and growing existing accounts.

Main duties for the Area Sales Executive:
– Establishing and converting new customers
– Reactivating lapsed customers to develop them into regular spending accounts
– Ensuring that retail customers have adequate sales and brand support materials
– To ensure that retail product displays are well presented
– To brief customers on new and existing products
– To provide on-site product inspection
– To set commercial terms for new customers
– To work alongside Area Sales Manager to develop new business.

This opportunity would suit someone looking to develop their sales career and perhaps take their first step into a field based role. Applicants should have some previous sales experience and the successful candidate will be articulate and quick thinking with a good commercial understanding.

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager the Area Sales Executive will have experience in sales and ideally will have worked within one of the following sectors: furniture, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, interiors, lighting, flooring, plumbing, construction or FMCG, although this is by no means essential. This is a target driven environment so applicants must have a proactive, highly motivated, nature. A driving licence is required (max 3 points) for these field-based roles and occasional overnight stays will be required.

Salary for the role is £30,000 plus bonus, company car, phone, laptop and additional benefits.
