We are currently recruiting for a 1st line Support Technician to join our busy IT Department.

The main focuss of the role will to be:

Provide support to IT equipment, software and services for Partnerships in Care Ltd, (PiC) Head Office and PiC facilities, as required, and any other appropriate related tasks.

Your main duties would include:

– Provide 1st line response to Helpdesk calls

– Provide general PC desktop and IT support to the business, including. printers
and peripherals

– Provide support to IT Helpdesk Administrator and cover in absence

– Provide backup and support to 2nd/3rd line technicians

– Help manage and produce internal documentation and reports

– The role may on occasion demand out of hours work or travel that requires overnight accommodation good working knowledge of IT Systems including:

Skills and Experience:

– Windows 7/XP OS, PC Hardware, Office 2010 suite

– Basic knowledge of networking and Active Directory knowledge

– Familiar with PC tools and software

– Relevant IT Qualification

– Outstanding attitude and approach to delivering a customer service to a high quality

– Good telephone skills

– Ability to communicate clearly to all levels of staff and stakeholders

– Ability to remain calm and collected while under pressure

– Demonstrable experience of strong listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions to be able identify, analyse and resolve problems

– Experience of working in a similar role
