This is a brilliant opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic Accountant to join a very established local Company with an excellent reputation for exceeding customer expectations!

Some of your duties will include:

– Supervising the Finance Department and overseeing the finance team on a day to day basis

– Overseeing the production of the sales, purchase and nominal ledgers to trial balance level

– Co-ordinating the production of 1000 subcontractor payments on a weekly and fortnightly basis

– Assisting the Director with the production of monthly management accounts and variance to budget reports

The ideal candidate will have:

– Great people management skills as supervising staff can, on occasions be challenging!

– A dedicated attitude, someone who will be committed and who wants a long term career

– The ability to prioritise and organise a busy and varied workload to tight deadlines

– A reasonable level of computer literacy and the ability to improve existing systems
