Assistant Accountant

This exciting institutionally-funded Property Investment and Development Company, buying multiple sites across London for state-of-the-art residential developments, is headed up by a team with unrivalled experience in the real estate market. As part of its expansion, the FD is looking to build a first class dynamic Finance team and as such is seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant to join its team and grow within the company. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will initially be responsible for the day to day accounts, bookkeeping up to trial balance and transactional processing including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, accruals & prepayments, credit control, journals and monthly payroll. The position is expected to grow and will involve much more month end accounts and analysis as time goes by. This position will suit an ambitious studying accountant (or someone who is keen to study).
