Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager – Up to 23K Basic Plus Bonus OTE 28K+

Our customers purchase a range of products from electrical items, such as large screen TV’s and laptops, to modern occasional furniture and the latest in designer sofas. Customers can pay weekly in store or via monthly direct debit.

As an Assistant Manager you would be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store in order to achieve and exceed commercial and financial targets. You would also offer support in the management, coaching, motivation and development of staff in every aspect of the business.

If you have experience of working in a supervisory role within a sales and/or collections environment and are ready for a new challenge with excellent career opportunities, then this is the perfect career for you.

• A proven track record in sales and/or collections and the ability to drive yourself and a team to achieve Company objectives and Key Performance Indicators.
• Experience of managing the performance of individuals within your team, with the ability to address under performers and deal with them effectively.

• Prioritised and organised tasks effectively, ensuring flexibility to meet the day to day demands of the business.

You will learn the business first hand through supporting the Sales Consultants in achieving the store sales targets, supporting the Debt Control Managers in achieving the store’s arrears targets and supporting the Store Manager in the overall running of the store.

This is a very target driven and results oriented position, with a focus on customer service, sales and collections. You must be able to demonstrate the enthusiasm and desire to achieve set targets.
