My client is fast growing leisure and sport business who are actively looking to add to their finance team due to a sustained period of growth with an additional accounts payable clerk.

Client Details

My client is a global organisation based in the sports industry who have grown their finance department in Birmingham and are now looking to bolster their accountancy team with a purchase ledger candidate.

Description

The ideal accounts payable clerk candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Match, batch and coding invoices
  • Running payment runs
  • Entering and coding non stock invoices
  • Maintaining spreadsheets
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Maintaining cashbooks in excel
  • Daily reconciliations
  • Assisting with month end
  • Other ad-hoc duties

Profile

The ideal accounts payable clerk candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Hardworking personality
  • Strong exposure to accounts payable
  • Strong excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to improve systems

Job Offer

£17,000 – £20,000 + Company Benefits
