5 Month Live in Host for Reserve in Scottish Highlands

Alladale Wilderness Reserve in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and can accommodate up to 26 guests. The properties are commercially let throughout the year. There a main lodge and two other self-catering lodges on the reserve.

Duties Include:

• Front of house and guests liaison
• Meeting and greeting guests
• Arranging activities with the gamekeepers for the guests
• Day to day running of the properties including the cottages
• Contracting temporary housekeeping /catering staff when required (you should also be comfortable to carry out housekeeping duties yourself)
• Assist with housekeeping on changeover days
• Serving meals, tea, coffee and clearing away at the end of the evening
• Serving drinks and ensuring the guests have an enjoyable stay

The reserve is used for special interests, corporate guests and let commercially. Whilst the lodge is not formal the ideal candidate will possess skills to ensure the guests stay is enjoyable and relaxing. A flexible, approachable manner and excellent attention to detail is essential. The role will be supported by the family’s London office and there are other reserve employees.

This location is rural and a car is essential.

Hours: Long hours will be required when the lodge is occupied

Accommodation: Self-contained flat will be provided on a rent, council tax and utility free basis. Live-out is also an option as long as you stay in the reserve when the lodge is occupied.
