Salary
Up to £33,600 plus bonus OTE 20%

What you’ll be doing
Whilst acting as a Designate, you’ll be putting your retail management experience to good use within a variety of our Trade Counters in the area. During this time, you’ll be travelling around our stores, becoming engrossed in our culture whilst understanding our management needs. The Designate role is the perfect way of getting stuck into our business and understanding how we operate before taking on your own Trade Counter.

When you do, you’ll be the driver behind a successful and profitable store. As a role model, you’ll show your team how to meet and exceed targets. Using your knowledge of the local market, you will proactively source and generate customer footfall, driving sales directly into your store. And with exceptional customer service, your customers will come back time and time again.

What we’re looking for
Hands-on and driven, you will inspire others with your passion for retail. You will already have a highly successful management career. With a record of reaching and exceeding targets, you’ll have the desire to achieve even more with us.  

As Screwfix grows, so will you. Adapting and changing to the fast paced environment of a winning business. As well as being an expert with people, you will also have the business management skills needed to stay on top of managing P&L statements, budgets and stock management.

If you are a manager in retail, we want to hear from you. We love people from different retail backgrounds. In other words, you don’t have to know screws to know Screwfix.
