Job Title- Head of HR
Location- Central London
Salary – Circa £90k per annum (may be flexible for a super star!)

What will be keeping you busy?
Resource is provided to support with the administrative HR activities but this is a role that requires someone to define and implement great HR initiatives whilst also being prepared to roll your sleeves up. This is not one of those roles where you will be the HR Administrator and HR Director all rolled into one but you do need to be willing to pick up tactical HR work. There is no point in sugar coating this fact, this is part and parcel of working in a growing business.
You will be responsible for providing guidance and management on a variety of HR issues that can occur across the company. These could include managing absence, disciplinaries and grievances. You will need to ensure that monthly and annual appraisals are carried out for all employees, while also contributing to organisational development projects, broader talent management activities and HR policy and procedure development.
Who are we looking for?
Working in a technology start up, you will be required to work with professionalism, pace and creativity. We are looking for an innovative mind that knows how to demonstrate return on investment from HR activities. In this sense you will be truly commercial in your approach to HR. If you have helped a small or medium sized business grow and have worked in the technology industry, you could be a great match.
You will be adept at both developing and maintaining excellent relationships at all levels. You will have the intellectual agility to challenge piers at a senior level. There are some very bright and passionate people in this business. They will be receptive to new ideas but you will need to take them with you. Above all you will be a HR professional with loads of HR knowledge and drive. You will be someone that takes pride in ensuring that a first class service is always delivered. Overall, you will be someone that seeks to lead and drive the constant improvement of HR throughout the business.
