Currently seeking an experienced Account Manager – Midlands (East and West)

Salary: £54,000 + Excellent Benefits Package including 35 days Holiday, Car Allowance, Pension + much more

Location: East and West Midlands, home-based must be flexible with travel.

KM Education Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Work Based Learning and Welfare to Work sectors. We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading National Training Provider who are looking to appoint an Account Manager to grow and manage their Corporate client accounts.

Main Duties:

– Identify and secure new revenue / income streams with Medium / Large employers, via the promotion of our clients full portfolio of services; Pre-Apprenticeships, Apprenticeships and Commercial training
– Drive new business and deliver contractual growth through effective marketing / new business development strategies as well as maximising existing accounts on a National basis
– Conduct Organisational Needs Analysis and promote all areas of our clients offering
– Ensure clients’ needs are being met and continuously monitored through regular reviews
– Implement project plans and business proposals to ensure effective delivery
– Working closely with the marketing team to ensure regional and national marketing campaigns are being maximised
– Carry out effective marketing activities through network and industry meetings, careers fairs and employer forums
– Keep up to date with competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, evaluating the market and scoping out new opportunities
– Account management; build a firm platform for long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business
– Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis

Essential experience required:

– Recognised Management qualification
– Strong employer engagement and account management experience on a National basis
– Sound knowledge of further education / work based learning
– Proven experience of negotiating / winning / closing new business
– Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
– Exceptional sales, marketing and networking skills
– Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
– Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle – must be flexible with travel and overnight stays as required
