An exciting new vacancy has arisen for an experienced 1st/2nd line technical support engineer in this internationally recognised organisation within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities will include –
” Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support (local and remote)
” Configure PCs and laptops for new employees and refurbish older machines
” Assist the Digital Team in network infrastructure projects
” Training new users/staff on applications and communication tools
” Regular travel to other UK sites

Essential Skills/Experience required –
” Experience of supporting telephony and mobile devices
” Strong commercial experience using Windows 7 / 8 and MS Office 2010 products
” Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills
” Keen desire to continue to develop their knowledge and understanding and an interest in corporate computer technology
” PC Hardware and laptop builds
” Networked Printer installations
” TCP/IP Networking
” Excellent communication skills
” Degree level education in Computer Science or equivalent subject
” Full, clean driving license is essential

Desirable skills –
” Microsoft SMS/SCCM, HyperV, Exchange 2010, Lync 2010, HyperV, Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, Sharepoint
” Commercial experience within a regulated environment e.g. Finance/Pharmaceuticals
” MCSA/MCITP qualified
