Prestigious expanding Ftse company based in lovely West End offices requires a dynamic PA/EA to with previous similar experience at board level especially in Investor Relations.
Overview of position:
To provide management support to the CEO and CFO, responsible for ensuring business critical and complex tasks are delivered on time to an exacting standard, analysing information and devising presentations, building relationships with key business areas and providing valued-added EA support.
Required to act independently, carrying out research, demonstrating initiative, having a keen understanding of the business, to have confidence in referring/ redirecting matters to other executives for action as appropriate, and have confidence to act as the company’s representative amongst key investors, internal and external stakeholders.
Act as a personal assistant specifically to the CEO working on key business projects, investor relations, board packs and projects required of a FTSE 250 company. In addition have experience of complex diary management, drafting correspondence, presentation packs, meeting and event management including work of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
Main Duties:
To act as a first point of contact for the CEO and CFO
To be competent in liaising at senior level with external companies, senior management teams and investors of the business
To act as the Company’s representative at all times
To be able to analyse data and interpret implications for board and investor reporting
Assisting with the preparation of reports, stakeholder information, budgets and complex presentations for Board/Plc. meetings and events
To act as a leader to the PA group and instill the highest standards in the work undertaken
Complex diary management, travel arrangements and coordinating meetings for multiple execs and non-execs
Being an advanced user of Microsoft office tools – power point, excel, word for the preparation of presentations to be delivered at board level
Taking fast notes and producing accurate reports to deadlines, dealing with confidential data and reports
Attention to detail and accuracy in all work, ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Accountability/Responsibility
Accountable for all tasks requiring completion for the CEO and CFO
Manage all items of work linked to board presentations and Investor Relations matters
Provide work to an exacting standard
Support the wider needs of the EMT
Act as a leader for the PA group
The scope of this role includes responsibility for high
level preparatory work relating to items such as budgets, preparation of
financial and key stakeholder information, building relationships with
management, clients and investors. The incumbent needs to have strong business
awareness and analytical skills, including understanding of key financial
terms.
