BASIC SALARY: £33,600 – £40,800

JOB DESCRIPTION: Account Manager, Key Account Manager, KAM, Retail Account Manager – Retail
 
Promoting “fun” for over 30 years, we are the largest privately owned company within our sector, and have an enviable reputation for creating, manufacturing and distributing some of the UK’s best flagship children’s products -including one of the best selling outdoor toys.
 
As our Key Account Manager you’ll be promoting our market leading toys to a wide portfolio of existing retailers, covering discount, online and high street stores.
 
You don’t need to have had exposure to the toy / game industry , however, you will be able to demonstrate successful retail (discount / online and / or high street) account management experience, and:
· have proven experience of managing and growing existing retail accounts and maintaining effective relationships internally and externally
· be confident working with multiple accounts and across different brands
· have exposure within a new business environment – although this only plays a small part to your role, you will have to, on some occasions, develop new business
· have the ability to work with a high volume of SKU’s
· have a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle – although the role is predominantly telephone/teams based, you will also visit clients and stores
 
Also, as part of your Key Account Manager role, you’ll attend annual toy fairs in the UK and overseas.
 
Ultimately, we are looking for someone who has fantastic relationship development skills, can communicate across all levels and is confident with the sales process.
