Account Manager

Do you have experience in the Energy industry and a background in B2B Account Management or Customer Service? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join an Energy Broker based in Hampshire at a time of business growth, as an energy B2B Customer Account Manager. You will be speaking to clients, energy suppliers, and service providers and your clients will include local authorities, schools and other public sector customers.

Key responsibilities:

* Managing 100 – 150 public sector organisations such as schools and local authorities
* Data entry, invoice validation, general queries, and chasing payments
* Data analysis and problem solving
* Renewing contracts with Suppliers, Meter Operators and Data Collectors
* Identify new business opportunities with your current customers
* Raise invoices
* Resolve Contract Termination and Objection issues at contract renewal
* Attending Conferences
* Customer site meetings

Experience and Skills Required:

* A technical understanding of the Gas and Electricity supply industry
* Previous experience of managing a SME customer portfolio – ideally in the public sector
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
* Demonstrate a ‘can do attitude’ and go that ‘extra mile’
* Team Player who will fit into the company ethos
* Self-motivated
* Pro-active mentality with strong multi task and self-time management skills
* Strong attention to detail in time pressured situations
