Sporting Appointments

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Develop highly effective and creative sponsorship sales materials and collateral for team across a variety of assets
  • Management of key brand/client relationships
  • Sponsorship and advertising sales remit in sport, fashion, and entertainment
  • Develop relationships across the company’s business globally and with international sponsorship sales executives in all offices worldwide
  • Creativity and vision to identify new sponsorship sales opportunities
  • Be an energetic, dynamic and committed part of the Media Sponsorship team

Unusual Challenges or Circumstances

  • Flexibility on working hours or being open to calls outside office hours if occasionally required in the light of people’s schedules, travel across time-zones and business demands etc

Key results area

  • Effective support mechanism for Media Sponsorship team
  • Help to generate revenues within the Media Sponsorship division
  • Make things happen!

Knowledge and experience

Mandatory

  • 2/3 years sports marketing / marketing / sponsorship experience
  • Experience of approaching brands and managing brand relationships
  • Experience and knowledge of the sports marketing landscape
  • Creative thinker who can conceptualize, articulate and develop customised sponsorship solutions in a highly competitive market
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships
  • Strategic account management experience

Desirable

  • Sponsorship Sales experience

Skills and abilities

Mandatory

  • Technically minded and IT literate
  • Extensive powerpoint and Photoshop experience
  • Highly proficient in the creation and delivery of sponsorship sales proposals and materials
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable

  • Ability to speak additional languages

  • Independent and results-oriented mentality
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Highly motivated, dynamic, energised and enthusiastic about new challenges
