Purpose of Job:
The Assistant Project Manager will work within an existing Building Services Solutions Team and work on a variety of projects in relation to all aspects of mechanical, electrical, energy solutions and fabric building services engineering. Working with the project manager and engineers at Intermediate and Senior level you will become an integral part of the team and gain experience delivering works across a number of prestigious clients real estate portfolios in London.
Applicants would ideally be HNC/HND qualified in a Building Services/Engineering discipline OR relevant Project Management qualifications and a good knowledge of Building Services.
The applicant would be interested in developing their skills in Engineering Project Management and be willing to undertake further learning and development. The applicant will have the opportunity to progress to Senior Project Management status.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting their assigned Senior Project Manager in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. The ideal candidate will be required to assist their assigned Project Manager in coordinating all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications that include, but not limited to:

+ Project Coordination & Project Controls
+ Design planning and coordination
+ Construction Billings & Cash Flow Projects
+ Cost tracking for sequential costing
+ Job Cost Analysis
+ Project Schedule Adherence
+ Weekly OAC Meetings
+ Meeting Minutes and Documentation
+ Project Monthly Report Generation
+ Change Management Reports
+ Application for Payment Verification
+ Contract Administration
+ Warranty Review & Procurement
+ Commit to supporting the strategic companies sustainability policies and the internal environmental programme objectives.
Training Programme:
+ Commit to goals and objectives of career development programme including attendance of in-house and external technical and non-technical training.
+ Commit to achieving or maintaining Chartered Engineer status through relevant professional institution.
+ Have interest in developing their knowledge by working towards a relevant mechanical/electrical or building services degree qualification.
+ Support the development of team members and work alongside other Junior, Intermediate and Senior Engineers.
+ Familiarise and learn about sustainable low energy initiatives and to share this with other members of your team and wider within the Partnership.
