Account Manager – Healthcare Marketing Agency – North East!

A leading Healthcare Marketing Agency is looking for an exceptional Account Manager to join its growing team based near Newcastle. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to lead on a diverse range of healthcare/medical communications accounts within this busy agency.

The agency has built a solid reputation within the industry and it is the Account Manager’s responsibility to make sure these standards are reflected in the profitability, performance and management of their accounts.

Main responsibilities include:

• Assisting development and delivery of client campaigns and projects
• Strategic insight, planning and message development
• Effective liaison with creative and design teams

The Account Manager will play a central role across multiple areas, therefore excellent time-management and organisation skills coupled with superb communication skills are vital.

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

• Healthcare agency experience – this could be healthcare communications, medical communications, healthcare advertising or healthcare marketing
• Understanding and familiarity with the ABPI Code of Practice
• Educated to degree level or above
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills
• Knowledge of different marketing mediums including latest digital channels, print, direct mail, PR and advertising.

The agency and its staff are truly passionate about the work they do, therefore a solid interest and knowledge of marketing in ethical healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry is absolutely essential. Experience in Diabetes, Urology, and Epilepsy therapy areas and/or a Life Sciences background would be an advantage.
