The Lincoln Diocesan Board of Education have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team.

Location: Edward King House, Minster Yard, Lincoln, LN2 1PU

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Hours: Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

Start date: Easter 2024 (or earlier by negotiation)

About Us:

The Lincoln Diocesan Board of Education (LDBE) is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to join our dedicated and talented team which inspires our family of church schools and academies across the Diocese of Lincoln. This is an exciting and rewarding role, in the context of an organisation which places Christian vision and values at the centre of all that we do.

The Diocese of Lincoln supports 142 church schools across a wide geographical area (infant, junior, primary and secondary) in the three Local Authorities of Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.

Administrator – The Role:

For our next exciting phase of development, we are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated administrator to join our education team.

In this role as an Administrator, you will have a key responsibility for managing the administration of foundation governors in schools and academies. You should already have a successful track record of working effectively as an administrator and have a secure knowledge of school governance.

As a member of a small team, you will need to be adaptable and prepared to support colleagues as we continue to be collaboratively pro-active in providing the very best church school education for our communities in a changing landscape.

Administrator – You:

It is essential that you have excellent communication and IT skills and that you are able use your own initiative as well as follow advice to further develop the systems and practices we have in place to support schools.

It is important that you will share our vision for our family of schools and that you CARE. (Called, Aspirational, Rooted and Empowering).

In essence, the ideal candidate will have:

– A proven track record as a successful administrator

– Good knowledge of governance in schools and academies

– The ability to work collaboratively as well as on their own

– The motivation and initiative to further develop systems and practices

– A willingness to be adaptable and embrace new opportunities in the educational landscape

– The ability to inspire trust and confidence

– The ability to work inclusively within a Christian organisation
