£60-65k + 30% bonus + 10% pension + private medical + corporate bens package

I’m supporting a leading international Energy business who manage a growing portfolio of assets around the world.

The Financial Accountant will play a key role within the Finance team – taking ownership for financial accounting, statutory and management reporting for subsidiaries within the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete month end
• Own accounting processes and reporting on a quarterly and annual basis
• Take responsibility for controlling the general ledgers of subsidiaries within the group
• Production of statutory financial statements
• Liaise with UK auditors, providing relevant information and documentation – answering queries where necessary
• Challenge and redesign of existing process and controls on a periodic basis
• Support other Finance projects e.g. new accounting standards implementation, corporate transactions, disposals / acquisitions

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA preferred)
• Audit background – can be straight from practice
• Drive and ambition!
